เมื่อวันที่ 24 กรกฎาคม 2554 กศน.ตำบลนาโป่ง ได้จัดทำกิจกรรมการอนุรักษ์ธรรมชาติ ณ วนอุทยานน้ำตกห้วยเลา ตำบลแก่งศรีภูมิ อำเภอภูหลวง จังหวัดเลย อยู่ในเขตป่าสงวนแห่งชาติป่าภูค้อและป่าภูกระแต เพื่อให้นักศึกษาเห็นคุณค่าของธรรมชาติ และช่วยกันรัษาธรรมชาติโดยการส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวเชิงอนุรักษ์
