กศน.ภูหลวงร่วมเป็นเจ้าภาพกับสมาคมผู้ปฏิบัติธรรมแห่งประเทศไทย ในการตั้งโรงบุญมังสวิรัติโดยมีการร่วมทำบุญตักบาตร แจกอาหารมังสวิรัติแก่ประชาชน ในวันที่ ๔ ธันวาคม ๒๕๕๓ ณ บ้านโนนสว่าง ตำบลหนองคัน อำเภอภูหลวง จังหวัดเลย เนื่องในวันเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษา ๘๔ พรรษาพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช
